Terms & Conditions
Last updated: July 2026
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the GT Auto Centre website, making a booking, requesting an estimate, or authorising us to inspect, diagnose, repair, maintain or otherwise work on a vehicle.
By using our website, submitting an enquiry, booking a service, signing or approving a job card, or authorising work verbally or electronically, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
For these Terms and Conditions, “GT Auto Centre”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the workshop business and legal entity identified on the relevant estimate, job card, tax invoice or trade licence.
1. Scope of These Terms
These Terms and Conditions apply to:
- The use of the GT Auto Centre website and online booking facilities.
- Vehicle inspections and diagnostic services.
- Mechanical repairs and maintenance.
- Electrical and electronic repairs.
- Air-conditioning services.
- Bodywork, accident repairs and painting.
- Tyre, battery, suspension, brake and transmission services.
- Vehicle collection and delivery services.
- Any other automotive service provided or arranged by GT Auto Centre.
Additional terms written on an estimate, quotation, job card, invoice, promotion or service agreement will also apply. Where there is a conflict, the specific written terms agreed for that particular job will take priority.
2. Website Use
The information available on our website is provided for general information and booking purposes. Although we take reasonable steps to keep the website information accurate and up to date, service descriptions, prices, promotional offers and availability may change without prior notice.
Website content does not constitute a final diagnosis, quotation or confirmation that a particular repair can be completed. A vehicle may need to be physically inspected before we can confirm the required work, price, parts and expected completion time.
You must not:
- Use the website for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website or its systems.
- Upload viruses, harmful software or malicious content.
- Copy or misuse GT Auto Centre content, branding or intellectual property.
- Submit false, misleading or unauthorised booking information.
We may suspend or restrict access to the website where reasonably necessary for security, maintenance or operational purposes.
3. Online Bookings and Enquiries
An online booking or enquiry is a request for an appointment and does not automatically confirm availability, price or completion time.
A booking is confirmed only after GT Auto Centre communicates its acceptance by telephone, email, WhatsApp, SMS or another approved communication method.
The customer must provide accurate information, including:
- Customer name and contact details.
- Vehicle make, model and year.
- Registration number or chassis number when requested.
- Vehicle mileage.
- Known faults, warning lights or previous repairs.
- Any relevant accident, flood, modification or repair history.
GT Auto Centre will not be responsible for delays or incorrect recommendations caused by incomplete, inaccurate or misleading information supplied by the customer.
4. Vehicle Ownership and Authority
By delivering a vehicle to GT Auto Centre or approving work, you confirm that:
- You are the vehicle owner or have the owner’s authority to approve the work.
- You are authorised to accept these Terms and Conditions.
- The vehicle is not subject to restrictions that prevent the requested work.
- You have disclosed any unusual vehicle condition, modification or security system that may affect the work.
You agree to indemnify GT Auto Centre against reasonable claims resulting from your lack of authority to approve work on the vehicle.
5. Inspections and Diagnostics
A diagnostic inspection identifies faults based on the vehicle’s condition and available information at the time of inspection.
Some faults may be intermittent, concealed or only identifiable after dismantling, road testing or completing an initial repair.
A diagnostic fee may apply even where:
- No fault is found during the inspection.
- The customer decides not to proceed with the recommended repair.
- Further dismantling or specialist testing is required.
- The fault is intermittent or cannot be reproduced.
- The vehicle requires testing by a manufacturer, dealer or external specialist.
Payment for diagnostics covers the time, equipment and technical work used during the inspection. It does not guarantee that every existing or future fault will be identified.
6. Estimates and Quotations
Any estimate or quotation is based on the visible condition of the vehicle and the information available at the time it is prepared.
Unless expressly stated otherwise:
- An estimate is not a fixed-price contract.
- Prices may change if additional faults, damage or required parts are discovered.
- Parts prices and availability may change before an order is placed.
- VAT and applicable government charges may be added.
- An estimate may have a stated validity period.
- Labour estimates may change where bolts, components or systems are damaged, seized, modified, corroded or previously repaired incorrectly.
GT Auto Centre will seek customer approval before carrying out material additional work that was not included in the original approved estimate, except where immediate action is reasonably required to prevent danger, further damage or loss.
7. Customer Authorisation
Work may be authorised through:
- A signed job card or estimate.
- Email.
- WhatsApp or SMS.
- Website approval.
- Recorded telephone approval.
- Another electronic communication that reasonably identifies the customer.
Electronic or verbal approval will be treated as valid authorisation to proceed.
The customer is responsible for monitoring the telephone number, WhatsApp account and email address supplied to GT Auto Centre.
If we cannot contact the customer for additional approval, work may be paused and the completion date may be delayed.
8. Additional Work and Hidden Damage
Vehicle repairs may reveal faults or damage that could not reasonably have been identified during the initial inspection.
Examples include:
- Internal engine or gearbox damage.
- Electrical faults.
- Corrosion or water damage.
- Accident damage beneath panels.
- Broken or seized components.
- Previous poor-quality repairs.
- Modified wiring, software or vehicle systems.
- Damage discovered after dismantling.
Where additional work is required, GT Auto Centre will provide an updated estimate or request further approval whenever reasonably possible.
If the customer refuses additional work required to complete a safe or technically correct repair, GT Auto Centre may stop the work and return the vehicle in its existing condition. The customer will remain responsible for completed labour, diagnostics, dismantling, reassembly, ordered parts and other costs already incurred.
9. Parts and Materials
Depending on availability and customer approval, GT Auto Centre may use:
- Genuine manufacturer parts.
- Original-equipment-manufacturer parts.
- Aftermarket parts.
- Reconditioned or remanufactured parts.
- Used parts.
- Customer-supplied parts.
The type of part selected should be recorded on the estimate, job card or invoice where applicable.
Part availability and delivery times depend on manufacturers, dealers, distributors and external suppliers. GT Auto Centre is not responsible for delays outside its reasonable control.
Removed parts may be disposed of unless the customer asks to retain them before the repair begins and it is lawful and safe to return them.
Hazardous materials, fluids, batteries and certain controlled components may not be returned to the customer and will be disposed of appropriately.
10. Customer-Supplied Parts
GT Auto Centre may refuse to install customer-supplied parts where the part is unsuitable, unsafe, incomplete, damaged, counterfeit or incompatible with the vehicle.
When GT Auto Centre agrees to install a customer-supplied part:
- The customer is responsible for confirming that the part is correct and suitable.
- Additional labour may be charged if the supplied part is incorrect or defective.
- Removal and refitting charges may apply.
- GT Auto Centre is not responsible for the quality, performance, compatibility or failure of the customer-supplied part.
- Any claim concerning the part must be made directly against the seller, manufacturer or supplier.
- No warranty is provided by GT Auto Centre for customer-supplied parts.
11. No General Warranty
GT Auto Centre does not provide a general or automatic warranty on inspections, diagnostics, repairs, labour, parts, paintwork, bodywork or other services.
A warranty will apply only where:
- It is required by applicable UAE law; or
- GT Auto Centre expressly provides a specific written warranty on the estimate, job card or invoice.
Any manufacturer or supplier warranty relating to a part is provided by the relevant manufacturer or supplier and remains subject to that party’s conditions and approval.
A manufacturer or supplier may reject a claim because of misuse, accident damage, overheating, incorrect maintenance, vehicle modifications, racing, off-road use, continued driving after a warning appeared or another excluded condition.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions removes any customer right that cannot legally be excluded under applicable UAE law.
12. Concerns After a Repair
If the customer believes there is a concern connected to completed work, the customer must:
- Stop using the vehicle where continued use may be unsafe or cause further damage.
- Notify GT Auto Centre as soon as reasonably possible.
- Allow GT Auto Centre a reasonable opportunity to inspect the vehicle.
- Avoid authorising another workshop to dismantle or repair the relevant area before GT Auto Centre has inspected it, unless emergency action is reasonably necessary.
A return visit does not automatically mean that the concern was caused by GT Auto Centre’s work.
Following inspection, GT Auto Centre will determine whether the concern relates to:
- The original approved repair.
- A separate or newly developed fault.
- A part supplied by the customer.
- Normal wear and tear.
- Misuse, accident, overheating or continued operation.
- A repair or modification performed by another party.
- Work the customer previously declined.
- A manufacturer or supplier issue.
Any remedy will be considered according to the inspection findings, the written job terms and applicable UAE law.
13. Completion and Delivery Times
Any completion date or delivery time is an estimate only unless GT Auto Centre expressly confirms otherwise in writing.
Completion may be delayed because of:
- Additional faults or hidden damage.
- Parts availability.
- Manufacturer or supplier delays.
- Specialist repairs or external services.
- Insurance approvals.
- Government testing or approval requirements.
- Customer approval delays.
- Technical complications.
- Events outside GT Auto Centre’s reasonable control.
GT Auto Centre will take reasonable steps to communicate significant delays but will not be responsible for losses resulting from delays outside its reasonable control.
14. Road Tests and Vehicle Movement
The customer authorises GT Auto Centre and its approved employees, technicians, drivers and service providers to move and road-test the vehicle where reasonably required for:
- Diagnosis.
- Repair verification.
- Quality checks.
- Wheel alignment.
- RTA testing.
- Fueling, washing or specialist services.
- Collection and delivery.
- Transfer between GT Auto Centre and an approved third-party facility.
Reasonable additional mileage may be added during these activities.
15. Vehicle Collection and Delivery
Collection and delivery services are subject to driver availability, location, traffic and operational conditions.
The customer must ensure that:
- The vehicle is legally accessible.
- The vehicle can be safely moved.
- Keys and required documents are available.
- Any parking, access or building restrictions have been disclosed.
- The collection or delivery representative is authorised to release or receive the vehicle.
GT Auto Centre is not responsible for delays caused by traffic, access restrictions, incorrect addresses, customer unavailability or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
16. Customer Property
Customers should remove cash, electronics, jewellery, documents and other personal belongings before leaving the vehicle with GT Auto Centre.
GT Auto Centre will not be responsible for loss of or damage to personal belongings left inside the vehicle unless the loss or damage was directly caused by GT Auto Centre’s proven negligence.
Customers must notify the service advisor of any valuable item that cannot reasonably be removed.
17. Existing Damage and Vehicle Condition
GT Auto Centre may record the vehicle’s condition through photographs, videos, inspection sheets or electronic records before, during and after the work.
GT Auto Centre is not responsible for:
- Damage that existed before the vehicle arrived.
- Wear and tear.
- Deteriorated, brittle, corroded or previously damaged components.
- Failure caused by previous repairs or modifications.
- Damage that becomes visible only after cleaning, dismantling or removing another component.
- Mechanical or electrical failure unrelated to the approved work.
Where a weakened or deteriorated component breaks during a reasonable repair process, the customer may be responsible for the additional replacement and labour cost.
18. Unsafe Vehicles and Declined Repairs
GT Auto Centre may refuse to release a vehicle for driving where we reasonably believe it presents a serious and immediate safety risk. Where legally permitted, the vehicle may need to be collected by recovery truck.
If the customer declines a recommended safety repair, GT Auto Centre may record the declined work on the job card or invoice.
The customer accepts responsibility for operating the vehicle after being informed of an unresolved safety concern.
19. Payment
Payment terms will be shown on the estimate, job card, invoice or other written agreement.
Unless agreed otherwise:
- Payment is due when the work is completed and before the vehicle is released.
- VAT will be charged at the applicable rate.
- Deposits may be required before parts are ordered or work begins.
- Special-order parts may require full advance payment.
- Diagnostic, inspection and dismantling charges are payable once performed.
- Insurance excesses and non-approved insurance costs remain the customer’s responsibility.
- Bank, card, finance or payment-provider charges may apply where disclosed.
Subject to applicable law, GT Auto Centre may retain possession of the vehicle until undisputed amounts due for the completed work have been paid.
20. Deposits, Cancellations and Refunds
A customer may request cancellation before work begins. However, the customer will remain responsible for costs already incurred, including:
- Diagnostic work.
- Labour already performed.
- Dismantling or reassembly.
- Special-order parts.
- Non-returnable supplier charges.
- External specialist fees.
- Collection, delivery or recovery costs.
Deposits relating to specially ordered, imported, programmed, painted or customised parts may be nonrefundable once the order has been placed.
Completed services are not automatically refundable. Refund requests will be reviewed according to the work completed, inspection findings, agreed job terms and applicable UAE law.
Where a refund is approved, it will normally be processed using the original payment method unless another method is agreed.
21. Vehicle Collection and Storage
The customer must collect the vehicle promptly after being informed that the work is completed or that the vehicle is ready for collection.
If the vehicle is not collected within the period stated on the job card, estimate or collection notice, reasonable storage charges may apply after GT Auto Centre has notified the customer.
The customer remains responsible for parking charges, towing charges, government penalties and other costs relating to an uncollected vehicle.
Any action concerning a vehicle that remains uncollected for an extended period will be taken only in accordance with applicable UAE law.
22. Limitation of Liability
GT Auto Centre will perform authorised work with reasonable care and skill.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GT Auto Centre will not be responsible for:
- Indirect or consequential loss.
- Loss of income, profit, business or opportunity.
- Loss of vehicle use.
- Replacement vehicle, taxi or transport costs.
- Hotel, travel or accommodation expenses.
- Loss caused by a delay outside our reasonable control.
- A fault unrelated to the authorised work.
- Failure of an old, worn, modified or previously damaged component.
- Damage caused by misuse, accident, overheating, continued driving or failure to follow advice.
- Acts or omissions of a manufacturer, supplier, insurer, recovery company, government authority or other independent third party.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability where such liability cannot legally be excluded or limited under UAE law.
23. Third-Party Services
GT Auto Centre may arrange certain work through approved third parties, including:
- Manufacturer or dealer programming.

Unless stated otherwise:
- Offers cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Offers cannot be combined.
- Discounts apply only to the specified service or labour category.
- Offers are subject to availability and expiry dates.
- Additional work, parts, consumables, VAT and government charges may be excluded.
GT Auto Centre may refuse a promotion where it has been altered, misused or obtained fraudulently.
Nothing in this section affects any mandatory customer rights under applicable law.
25. Website Content and Intellectual Property
The GT Auto Centre name, logo, website design, service descriptions, photographs, videos, graphics, text and other original material belong to GT Auto Centre or are used with permission.

The updated version will be published on the website with a revised “Last updated” date.
Changes will apply from the date of publication and will not normally change specific written terms already agreed for work in progress.
31. Severability

The invalid provision will be interpreted or adjusted only to the extent necessary to make it lawful and enforceable.
